About - Conservation

Your money will be donated directly to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC).
The AWC is the largest private owner and manager of land for conservation in Australia. They manage the biggest network of feral cat and fox-free land in Australia and successfully reintroduce and protect endangered species to their former and current habitats.
We've chosen to donate to the AWC because they're a privately owned company - meaning they rely solely on donations from people such as yourself, who have chosen to support the conservation of our native species.
The AWC currently manage almost 6.5 million hectares around Australia and protect some of the nation’s most iconic and endangered wildlife including:
  • 72 per cent of native mammal species (207 species)
  • 88 per cent of native bird species (541 species)
  • 54 per cent of reptile species (523 species)
  • 54 per cent of amphibian species (127 species)
The AWC have been able to achieve what they have by acquiring land and partnering with landholders to protect areas currently threatened by extinction. This involves feral animal control, fire management (the biggest non-government fire management program in the country), environmental surveys and weed removal programs.
